The name Drenth presumably was adopted by multiple families in 1812. So these families have nothing to do with each other.
This branch is originated to the south of Drachten, in and around Jubbega-Schurega. Several Drenth's still live in this area.
Abele Drenth from Jubbega-Schurega, (born 27-11-1892), marries Trijntje Slump (born 19-7-1891) from Follega, and they go living together in Follega.
Their son Klaas (1930-2000) married in Hemelum and that brings the name Drenth farther in Zuid-West-Friesland. Their daughter Tjitsche lives in the vicinity of Wolvega. Once a Drenth from this family went to Groningen, though it is unknown yet whether the Drenth's of Groningen are related.
The research of this family is not completed. I now am entering everyone with the surname Drent(h). The database now contains 1200 people probably belonging to the Drenth family. 780 of them could not yet be connected right to the tree Drenth were my wifes belongs to, they are not on this website.
